How do you handle health and safety on your trips?

Health and safety covers a pretty wide range of topics but when you book your trip with us you can be sure that you're going to be with qualified guides, the equipment you use will have been tested, the accommodation you stay at inspected and the transport you get around in will have passed any relevant local standard tests. Different countries around the world have different standards of what accommodation gradings mean, what food preparation rules are in place, what safety devices are mandatory and what qualifications guides must have. Please be aware of this and exercise your own judgement when travelling. Our trips, and any trip you take for that matter, have an element of risk built-in to them. This might be the local hazards of the destination you're visiting such as a higher risk of natural disasters, or it could be the risk specific to the activities you're doing, such as trekking at altitude. There's never a way to eliminate risk completely. We work pretty hard behind the scenes to make sure that our trips are safe, our teams are qualified and your experience is seamless. If you see anything that you feel isn't up to scratch, then please let us know.
